BREEDING FARM
Ashford Farm’s breeding program is aimed to produce high-quality horses for the showjumping sport. Some of our broodmares still jump successfully at international level, while other mares have been retired from their jumping careers and continue to contribute with their genetic heritage. Some of our youngest broodmares even stem from our own breeding program and at least three stallions with Ashford Farm lineage have already been approved by one or multiple studbooks. Ashford Farm breeds a fair number of foals every year by means of artificial insemination and embryo transfer.

Ashford Farm’s breeding program is devoted to shaping the next generation of world-class showjumpers, with a special focus on breeding and rearing exceptional offspring that embody talent, athleticism, and quality.
Our breeding program contains a selection of top lineage breed mares and stallions. One of the stallions that has contributed to our breeding program is Parfait van het Schaeck. He stems from one of our top mares, Like a Diamond van het Schaeck. And he himslef has already sired several outstanding offspring which already include two BWP approved stallions among others. He is available for breeding with frozen semen.

All foals bred from our breeding program get the initials AF behind their name when their are named after birth. As a seal of approval and to become life long ambassadors of Ashford Breeding. Next to our own bred horses we continuously invest in interesting bloodlines by adding other foals or breed mares to our farm.
